Friends of Bayou St. John’s mission is to encourage social change by improving the quality of life for Louisiana residents through the promotion of arts, culture, and recreation. Friends of Bayou St. John produces Bayou Boogaloo, a three-day music festival featuring more than 300 musicians that celebrates Louisiana culture, generates opportunities within our communities, and connects businesses to an ever expanding audience. We are also committed to the ecological preservation of Bayou St. John.
