Friends of Bayou St. John is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Our mission is to promote the preservation of a healthy, sustainable Bayou St John for all, through ecological, cultural and community-based programming.

Bayou St. John connects many communities in New Orleans, and it traces a path through the city’s history. Friends of Bayou St. John connects people to this unique natural and cultural resource.
